I mentioned in my previous post that I’ve been focusing on my true passion in life, drawing. In my effort to get all four of my drawings done prior to Christmas, I’m continuing that theme this week. Although, self-imposed deadlines aside, once I get into an artistic groove, it’s easy to stay in it.
There is nothing like the feeling I get when I am able to focus on creative pursuits. Time stands still and everything around me is in slow motion. It’s calming, meditative and exhilarating all at the same time.
If I never had to work another day in my life, I would do nothing by draw, paint and create art for the people around me.
My focus today, as the headline implies, is of a family photo of my wife’s brother, his wife and their first child, Addison. She was born in May of 2017, and if this isn’t her first family photo, it’s close.
If I thought about it while I was working, I would have taken more pics. As it stands, I have three. The first two are the ones I shared previously, while the third is a version that’s about 50% of the way complete.
Enjoy!
